Mount Avenue Cottages

Mount Avenue Cottages has five small cottages and was donated to the Town of Yountville from the adjacent developer in 1996. The Town was insistent that affordable housing be provided to local residents and employees. In turn, the Town of Yountville sold the property to Family Apartments, a nonprofit affiliated with NVCH, for $1.

The five cottages were in serious need of rehabilitation and were renovated through loans from the State HOME program, Low Income Housing Fund and the Town of Yountville. There are four one-bedroom cottages and one two-bedroom cottage. Family Apartments owns and NVCH manages the property.
